What We Believe
Paraphrased United Methodist Book of Discipline - Articles of Religion

We believe that Jesus Christ, in His life, death and resurrection has paid for all sins, a gift available to every person on earth.

We believe there is one Church comprised of all people who believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

We believe God has gifted each person for a unique and special purpose that helps others, glorifies God and grows that person.

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His life teachings, His death and resurrection and His place of honor with God the Father.

We believe God's work in people is transformational, healing and ever growing us toward the likeness of Christ.

We believe in "one book", the Bible as contained in the Old and New Testaments, as the inspired Word of God.

We believe the purpose of God is to bring people to Him.

We believe the purpose of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through teaching, preaching, baptizing and loving.

We believe in one God expressed in the three persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God desires for all persons to be saved and that all persons can be saved through faith in and Lordship of Jesus Christ.
